JOINT VENTURE FOR EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTION/MAINTENANCE OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS IN THE TERRITORY OF DPR OF KOREA

The Government of the DPR of Korea is looking for one reliable
manufacturer of Fire Extinguishers.
Any country-based companies accepted except USA, South Korea and Japan.

OBJECTIVE
To build the first DPRK Fire Extinguisher Manufacturing Plant and provide
Fire Extinguisher maintenance for all the country.

ADVANTAGES
Until now, all public buildings, condominiums, factories in the Republic
have been using imported fire extinguishers.
Soon a new compulsory country-level law will be implemented where all
buildings should have fire extinguishers produced in the DPR of Korea and
have regular maintenance.

The company that will establish a joint venture for the production and
maintenance for all fire extinguishers in the country, will have exclusive
rights, sole production for a market of 25 million people.

SHARES
Shares in the Joint Venture with the DPRK Government are negotiable and
fully flexible, allowing the possibility that the foreign investor will
hold majority in the company.

SELECTION PROCESS
Interested companies should join one of the KFA Business trips to have
direct talks with the officials in charge of negotiation and decission.

CONDITIONS
Fully negotiable with the DPRK Government counterpart.

GUARANTEES
The selected company will have Government Guarantee plus political
guarantee during all process provided by one of the Highest Ministries in
the Country.

DEADLINE
Not fixed, but the process will end as soon as the first and only company
sign the contract in Pyongyang. Only one company will be selected.

Lumbering

A DPRK company has a big land in Siberian region with wood of the highest demand/quality, granted for extraction by the Russian Government. It has ready personnel and customers in SouthEast Asia, need only a partner introducing the machinery investment. Net yearly profit 2 million USD.

Bearing factory

The government seeks a J.V. to produce modern bearings of good quality.

Traditional Medicine

Possibilities in the manufacturing of different health products based on traditional Korean medicine.

CNC

(Computer Numerical Control Machine) There's a high demand overseas for the CNC. The country is looking for building more factories with foreign investors to satisfy the request.

Gold

According to a spinning field research on year 2002, the country has more than 15.000 tons of gold reserves of the best purity in Asia. The government is looking for a joint venture with a foreign company that can provide modern equipment for its extraction. Sand gold has been found also in the coasts of Chongjin, with a capacity of 15 tons in an area of 2 square kms.

Electronics

J.V. in the production of all kind of electronic/I.T. appliances.

Garments

The DPR of Korea is positioned as the second biggest garment manufacturing country in Asia. The Chinese companies that serve the European market moved their factories to North Korea since it's more competitive than China and the quality is far superior.

One company alone can produce more than 10.000 suits and 30.000 sports wear per month.
